Drive (VFD) Cables for OGP Applications

Wherever variable frequency drives (VFDs) are used in OGP applications, our VFD cables offer proven reliability and performance. As the preferred wiring method for today’s pulse width modulation (PWM) drives, our three-conductor design with three symmetrical grounding wires greatly reduces harmonic interference to ensure that PWM drives continue to operate smoothly and efficiently.

We offer MOR® Polyrad® Type P and MV-RIG® Type E unarmored VFD cables for use in Class I, Division 2 and Zone 2 (Type P) environments when installed in accordance with API-RP14F or NEC Article 501. Our Type P and Type E armored and sheathed VFD cables are suitable for use in Class I, Division 1 and Zone 1 (Type P) locations when installed in accordance with API-RP14F.

For Class I, II and III, Divisions 1 and 2; and Class I, Zones 1 and 2 hazardous locations per NEC Articles 502, 502, 503, and 505, our Type MC-HL VFD continuously corrugated welded CCW® armored type cables are ideal for delivering power to drives in the most hazardous locations.
