NEW THOF-E Shore2Ship Power Cable for Cold Ironing


General Cable has launched its Shore2Ship THOF-E power cable that allows ships to cold iron while in port. Ships are able to plug into shoreside power and turn off their diesel engines in accordance with new environmental regulations seeking to reduce emissions.

CCW® products are used in hazardous locations (in accordance with NEC® Articles 500-505) requiring cables that are impervious to gas, liquids and vapors and terminated with explosion-proof glands to electrical equipment.
