Designed and engineered for voice and data networks, these cables are an economical solution for today's backbone applications which include 100 VG-AnyLAN, 52 Mbps ATM, 4 Mbps Token Ring, 10BASE–T, T1, and voice. All of General Cable’s Category 3 products meet the Category 3 Power Sum NEXT backbone transmission requirements and comply with ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.2 and ANSI/ICEA S-90-66.
